Line art for an Editorial Spread to The Rolling Stone’s “Child of the Moon”.  We were given 4 songs to choose from, two by The Stones,one by Guns and Roses, one by Johnny Cash, and all the sort of grungy oldy rock that you would expect from said artists.  Not thrilled with my options, I went a sort of children’s book, “poem” route.  The title and artist will be above and below the first spot illustration, and the “poem” in the negative space on the second page. 

But the kicker?  This is for Digital Illustration, so that means this baby can’t be colored by traditional means.   So, looking forward to experimenting with some coloring techniques I have never used before!
